Duties
The Conference Officer shall coordinate the annual conference including keynote speakers with national and international ties. The Conference Officer shall organize the award ceremony which shall coincide with the annual conference. The Conference Officer shall maintain connection to local universities for support, location of conference and theme. The Conference Coordinator shall coordinate and oversee all regional conferences. Conference Officer shall report to the President and is a voting member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The Conference Officer is expected to attend all Board of Director meetings as well as the annual conference. Failure to attend two scheduled meetings in a row (real or virtual) or failure to complete an assigned project by the mutually agreed due date shall be considered grounds for removal from ANTSHE Board.

My Story: I have worked in the area of academic advising at the University of Utah for nearly 15 years. I am passionate about my opportunity to work with students on advising issues. I returned to the U of U when my last child was entering kindergarten. I received her BS in Child and Family Development 1990 and my M Ed. in Special Education 1994. I enjoys traveling throughout the United States to visit my children and grandchildren. I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and watching football and baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs. |
