Scholarship Officer: The Scholarship Officer shall coordinate the promotion and management of scholarships. The Scholarship Officer shall coordinate the scholarship committee and notify the recipients and ANTSHE membership, and Board of Directors of the amounts awarded and the names of the scholarship recipients. The Scholarship Officer shall coordinate fundraising and grant writing for ANTSHE. The Scholarship Officer is expected to attend all Board of Director and Executive Board meetings as well as the annual conference. Failure to attend two scheduled meetings in a row (real or virtual) or failure to complete an assigned project by the mutually agreed due date shall be considered grounds for removal from ANTSHE Board.

I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and have been at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside for the past 12 years as Assistant Director for University Activities. I have had the wonderful opportunity to be involved in many different projects and activities, but it is the students who truly make this position a lot of fun!
One of my favorite opportunities is to work with the Parkside Adult Student Alliance. This organization has seen grow tremendously since its first year of existence just 10 years ago; I truly enjoy working with the PASA members putting on terrific programs for campus and working toward additional services for adult students.
As the current Scholarship Officer, I have had the opportunity to talk with current ANTSHE members seeking additional financial assistance. There are many wonderful stories of non-traditional students excelling to better themselves, their communities and their campus. ANTSHE’s growth over the past two years has been exciting to be part of, and I look forward to continuing working with the wonderful people and members as we help make ANTSHE an organization that meets the needs of non-traditional students everywhere!=======================================
