In October 1998, ANTSHE held its second annual conference in beautiful San Diego, California. Many non-traditional students, the professionals who work with non-trad students and other interested parties gathered at the annual conference where many workshops and speakers targeted presentations toward the special concerns and issues faced by the members of the ANTSHE partnership.

Conference Highlights

• Pre-conference workshops on web design and temperment assessment

• Keynote speaker David Houle, Senior VP, University ACCESS

• Networking opportunities for professionals and students presented by each of those constituencies

• Current, practical sessions for students and professionals on topics such as achieving dreams, confidence, job searches, language education, visibility, retention, and adult student services

• Experiential keynote speaker Dr. Dennis Gersten with insights into dealing with the stresses of the educational process
